    Stains in clothes
I have a whirlpool top load (american) washing machine 1 year old. The darks have rust stains and I have damaged garments . Have you any advice on what could be the problem? The whites are not soiled .

That's odd usually whites will pick u the stains before the darks. Does it continue to prodcue rust stains on your clothes after every cycle? If so check the line to be sure you have no rust in them. Usually you can run a cycle and the rust build up will release.
