    Property tax refund contract for deed
    How do I file for property tax refund on a contract for deed?

    Tax statement is in the original owners name until pay off the contract.

    ONLY the person who was legally obligated to pay the tax can claim the refund UNLESS they assign tgat right to you in writing.
