    Name calling doesn't hurt. Really, I only get insulted by people I know and respect, so no worries.

    It is frustrating to tell someone the facts, and have them not accept it. I do understand that what I told you, isn't what you wanted to hear. But that doesn't change the facts, or the law.

    Do get your boyfriend to go to court. If being a part of this child's life is what he wants, then he has to go to court. He has rights as her father. But, the child also has rights, and that's something he's going to have to accept. If he won't fight for his rights to see her and be a part of her life, that doesn't change his responsibility to support the child. If the mother is not a good parent, then going to court is his only option. If he can prove that she's unfit he could get sole custody, and then she has to pay child support. But proving that a parent is unfit isn't as easy as people think.
