Troubleshoot Honeywell programmable thermostat model T8624D
I program my Honeywell T8624D no problem that is until it calls for heat then after around 10 minutes the time defaults to a flashing 1:00 and the day changes as if there was a power failure. This happens all the time even though there hasn't been a power failure. The thermostat works well and monitors the temperature but will not show the time. I have removed the stat check the wiring and the 24 volts at the stat and at the furnace. No matter how many times I set the time and day it continues to resort back to the same problem. This model does not have a battery back up. Is there a reset on the board or anyway that this problem can be resolved? It would be nice to know whether this can be rectified before I make an investment on a new one.
Thanks for any suggestions or advice.
