    Credit card debt judgment
I am being sued by a credit card companyand I plan to let then have a judgment by default. I am to appear in 10 days to answer, but do not plan to do so.

When my husband died, I was willed his interest in property owned by his family.
I transferred ownership of my ineterest in the family owned property to my children through legal means. This transfer took place in July2005 Shortly after that, I realized I could no longer pay my credit card debt.

Can a judgment affect this transaction?
I have no other assets that they can seize. My only income is from Social Security.

Notify the court that you only have ssi as income it is exempt. Since you transfer interest in the property over a year ago it should be safe.
