    Illegal eviction in nj
    Can our town make my tenants leave their dwelling if they get there electric turned off for non payment to the elctric co ?

    So, you have tenants. They are responsible for paying the electricity, but haven't and now it is being shut off? And you are asking if the town can tell them to vacate?

    I doubt it. Are they paying the rental? If not, then you can give them a pay or quit notice and then file for eviction.
