Hi, I'm 36 n 4 days pregnant, and suddenly I notice my belly button goes back in although it was vry popped out and was visible, and yesterday I had pain every 10 min for 14 hours and than disappears? My doc says my baby in lower and inside near spine, and didn't even done dilation check, its my 2nd pregnant and in first I had hellp sym, is it to worry about because my doc isn't satisfying my ques...

Are you wondering if your belly button's being an innie or an outie has anything to do with the status and health of your pregnancy?

Thanks for responding, actually my belly button was popped out my whole pregnancy and after these pains (which I'm not sure was contractions because they disappears after 14 hour, no show or water leakage) I notice my belly button goes inside, completely flat, what does this means?

Thank you for writing out the words. ;) I especially am an old lady who was an English major and school teacher and prefers typing I can read.

If the baby has shifted or dropped, that could be the reason. There's less internal pressure in that area of your abdomen, so the outie can become an innie. Think of your fist sitting inside a sock and then flatten your hand or change your fist position to see what the sock does.
