RO tank fills once then when it drains it won't fill again.
My Waterrite RO system ran fine for 1 year then I changed all my filters and when I started it up again the tank drained once and would never fill again. I turn off the water main and opend 1 filter container(I suppose doing that gets the water flowing again?)then close it and turn the water main back on and then the tank fills up again and we have RO water again for a few days until the tank drains again.I have been doing this for a month now.I really don't want to keep going this for the rest of my life.Any ideas what's going on? Thanks for any help.

Re-check your filter installation... if your RO system takes several different density filters, make sure you have them installed in right order... install only filters recommended by the manufacturer... don't substitute... also the venturi may need replacement... make sure all valves are fully opened and that there are no kinks in your plastic tubing

It should take about 24 hours for the tank to fill up with filtrated water.

Hi there again.Milo, you're the man. After reinstalling the filters I let the tank fill then I drained it.Then the tank filled up again.Problem solved.Just one more thing. You said the tank would take up to 24 hours to fill.My tank only takes 3-4 hours to fill.I think it's a standard size tank.Thats how long the tank always takes. The water quality seems fine.Should I be concerned that unfiltered water is getting into the tank?
