    Guardianship
    I have a child that was placed in my care 3 years ago by child protective services I went to enroll him in preschool and was told I am not legally able to enroll him in school without the birth mothers consent. We haven't heard from the birth mother in 3 years.What do I do?

    Contact child services, they're the ones who placed him with you, so they should have something on file or information on how to enroll him.
    Otherwise, all kids in the system wouldn't be able to be enrolled in school.

    What documentation do you have from cps? Did you show them that documentation? Have you contact the case worker?
