    Emergency Probation Transfer
    Can I transfer my probation from PA to VA, due to an emergency? I will be homeless and my daughters husband is dying of cancer. She is suicidal. Thought I would get a pass for 40 days first and find a job down there.

    Hello lisa:

    You presume the probation department is CONCERNED with your emergency... They're NOT. That doesn't mean your PO can't hurry it along, if they were inclined to do so.

    Getting a travel permit to get a job isn't a bad idea.
