    Can I get legal aid to sue for deformation ,liabel and slander
    Social services have claimed in a report that I called my step- granddaughter a vindictive liar which has prevented my case for residency,and the fathers solicitor claimed to judge that I have only just recently had contact so would pose a threat when in fact I have been a part of the child's upbringing since she was born 7years ago and such lies has had a detrimental affect on our case and could result in the loss of my granddaughter to her father.

    Normally, there is no free legal representation in civil matters.. You MAY be able to make payment arrangements, though. I'd shop around.
