    Proper draining of washing machine
My daughter just bought a house... built 1971.
Inspection showed it has an overhead sewer system, and the sanitary ejector pump for the washing mashine (in the basement) is not operational.
I am kind of handy, and want to attack this problem...

What do I need to do ?

You may need a new pump or a switch for the pump. You cannot know until you get a meter and learn how to use it. Here is a booklet: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8010163/How...e%20Manual.pdf

Tub draining into washing machine? [ 2 Answers ]

Hi! My front load washing machine occasionally has water (1-2 gallons) in it even though it has not been in use.
