Sears Washing Machine Tub won't spin in wash or spin cycle
    Hello,

Thanks in advance for your advice, folks.

The tub in our Sears (Kenmore? Not sure - it's 13 years old) washer stopped spinning last night.

In any cycle now, when I keep the lid switch pushed in with a pen, the tub doesn't turn but the motor spins, almost clicks.

If it helps, the stock # is 28922 and the model # is 110.28922791.

Sure would like your thoughts, thanks.

Well, I took the hint of no replies to search more thoroughly for an earlier instance of my problem and found that johnseb has already been incredibly helpful with links, part numbers, and videos.

The problem is indeed the drive coupler; it had been partly ground apart and no longer working...

Thanks johnseb, for your invaluable help - you rock!

Sears Kenmore Elite washing machine won't spin [ 0 Answers ]

My Sears Elite Washing Machine doesn't always spin and it wants to blow the breaker every once in a while. I've taken the pump off to see if it was plug and it was'nt, I taken the motor off to see if the coupler was bad and it was'nt. I've even run the motor with nothing hooked up and it runs fine....
