I have been with my boyfriend on and off for 3 years. He went away on New Year for a week. I found out when he was away that I was pregnant and told him. He came back and begged me to have an abortion as he just wasn't ready. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I went ahead with it and 2 days after, he told me he cheated on me when he was away.

I didn't understand why he wanted to hurt me even more at this painful time. We broke up for 5 months and in that time I went abroad and worked away and got on with my life and moved on from the past. Until he got back in touch and I ended up coming home for him. He told me everything was going to be different. He was going to commit, he just wanted me and he was going to earn my trust back.

Nothing has changed. He makes me feel worthless. So low about myself but I find it so hard to stand up to him and leave him. I don't know what to do. I am scared of letting go of something I have tried so hard to keep a hold of for 3 years.

I never understand this. He treats you like crap, makes you cry, makes you sad, leaves you, cheats on you, makes you come back promising to change, doesn't change, but you can't leave him?
