My girlfriend of 4 years broke up with me and has not spoken to me in 3 days. I want her back
My girlfriend of 4 years (tomorrow is our would be anniversary) broke up with me 4 days ago. She said it was simply because she did not feel the same any more. That she was not excited to see me any more as she used to or she did not look forward in a wishful way, but still loved me though. She told me that she wanted to break up to think thoroughly about if she wanted to split up, that she wasn't sure if she really did, but was almost convinced.
On the first day, she texted me things like, I miss you a lot and please answer my texts etc etc, not begging to get back, but definitely wanting to talk... and the next day I was on my way out and texted her "I wont have coverage today, so I'll be without my cel, have a great day at work!". She answered, something along the lines of: "you too sweetie, love you". I haven't talked to her any more, and she has not texted me at all or called. I really want her back and I don't know if I should call her or communicate with her. Please Help! Any input is appreciated. |

We are both 21, thanks for the input much appreciated! It's been around a month or so since we broke up and I've just got on with my life, I didn't contact her again, she has called me a couple times already, just for a chat, but its OK, I'm not getting my hopes up and I think its probably better this way.. Thanks!

I just went through exactly the same as you. My girlfriend broke up with me after 3 and a half year, about 1 month ago. She even said the same to me as your girlfriend said to you. I haven't seen her or talked with her (except texts) in that month.
I know it feels awful at first, but just give her some space and let her contact you if she wants too, answer her normally and do not be to clingy. Try to let her see for herself what it will be without you to be there all the time. You have probably heard that before, but it's the only thing I got really, since I am doing the same thing at the moment. Just give it time and if it's meant to be, it will be. Good luck! :) |
