I am trying to figure out what movie this is...
A man (could be a cop, detective, lawyer etc.) is trying to find a murder weapon. He is somehow given clues or a hint as to where it is using bible names or verses. This takes place somewhere in the south near swamps. He is driving down a back road and sees a street sign or something like that and realizes he is where he should be. He gets out of the car and walks into the swamps. He comes across a drainage ditch (the round sheet metal type I think). He sticks his hand deep into the pipe and pulls out something wrapped in clothe. When he unwraps it, it is a small knife. The knife is skinny and almost crescent shaped.
