    Capias warrant in another state
    If you have a caspias warrant in another state can you pay what you owe and the warrant dropped without having to go to that state?

    Your best bet would be to either get a lawyer to handle the details for you or at least contact the court that issued the warrant to see what you need to do. Good Luck

    Not enough info, a capias warrant can be either civil or criminal, it varies on things by the court issued and the state where it was issued.

    In many cases, it is merely to force payment in others it requires the person to appear, or their attorney to appear

    So you will need to explain this more.

    Someone I know was in the military over 10 years ago and got into trouble and was discharged from the military and sent back to his home state. He was arrested almost two weeks ago them saying he was a fugative from virginia with a capias warrant for not showing up at court. How long does it take if they waived the extradition to go back to virginia and can he get bail here for that warrant.
