    Banks that offer debit cerds with estate accounts
    My wife just had to open up an estate account to deposit a check payable to her for her late father.Why don't they give you debit cards with an Estate account??

    I assume your wife is the executor of her father's estate. There's really no need for a debit card, since the estate shouldn't be buying anything. The account is used to pay off her father's final bills and pay for funeral expenses, and the remainder gets distributed to the heirs. All of this is done with checks - so what would a debit card be used for?
