Kenmore Stack has no water entering washer tank...
I have an old stack washer/dryer (kenmore) that has no water entering the tank, despite water flowing through supply lines. Seems to work fine when manually filling tank. I am not where the washer/dryer is so won't have model number until tomorrow. Just trying to get an idea of how to proceed, what to look for in sequence, etc... Probably no need to mention it, but I am new to this site.

    Thanks for any responses...

There are only two parts that will cause this problem: the water valves and the water level switch. Most likely it's the water valves. Check the screens and see if they are clogged, then check the solenoids for continuity (500-3000 ohms). The diaphragms could be stopped up with scales, too.
