Lux thermostat TX1500 air conditioner clicks on every 5 minutes
We recently had our air conditioner serviced and found that the relay was wearing out. We were told it is because the contacts were over used. We have had some exteme heat lately with the air running all day. Recently I noticed that the air has been clicking on very frequently. The thermostat is set to 78 degrees. The air clicked on at 78 degress and ran till the temp went down to 77. Five minutes later it clicks on again even though the temp did not go above 78. I'm concerned the contacts will wear out again. What can I do?
