I recently started getting inflammation around my vagina. I have what looks like aggravated fordyce spots from the inflammation near the clitoris, spots are very tiny and white. I have similar spots on my lips which I've had for years. Im noticing an increase in thicker, white, mucous-like discharge and a swollen tender mass, roughly pimple size, on the lips or line between the labia minora and majora closest to my urethra. I've had similar masses multiple times in the past between the labia majora and minora that became pimple like, which I popped because the pain was aggravating. I have had 1 continuous partner over the past 2 months. I know I stress a lot over little things, maybe thinking it could be an STD but I'm not really having similar symptoms and it doesn't look close to any of the images that I've seen. I was tested for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, both negative, and positive for YI 3 weeks ago. Use Ibuprofen for inflammation which helps some. What could it be?

The symptoms don't sound classic for any STD but could still be herpes (which can be dormant for many months and appears on lips and genitals) since herpes can vary a lot in the way it looks. You have to specifically ask for the test (it's not routine in STD tests- which I think is a big reason why herpes is on the rise) and it's a blood test. Either way you should have a doctor look at that. Also note that stress can make herpes worse.
