    Navel inflammation
    My 4 year grandson had what looks like a pimple that never came to a head about an inch below his belly button area a week ago. Last night it looked the same as it did a week ago. Today there is a one inch wide by one inch long strip of red inflamed skin that has connected to the pimple area. The pimple itself has not changed. I picked him up at day care and around 6:15 pm he started to vomit. I'm not sure if the two are related and not sure what to look for on the internet. Any help would be appreciated. I cleaned the belly button area with hydrogen pyroxide and then added some mycytracin ointment.

    We can't diagnose here Dina. Please go to your regular doctor and have it diagnosed.
