    No cold water!
I live in a rental among several other little cottages. My cold water inside and outside runs luke warm to hot, even in the garage where I do laundry. Manager called a plumber who just said it's an old house and it's hot outside, deal with it! But it's sickening! I'm not good at home repairs and I feel it's the managers responsibility. In the meantime, what can I do?? Please help me!

What's your location? City water or pump? How old is you unit and has any water pipes been replaced and run outside? I live in Florida and in July and August my cold waster runs from hot to warm depending on the sun. Back to you, Tom

I'm in so California. I don't know the plumbing history and doubt anyone would share. The unit is from the 20s. Honestly I don't know if that's true. It's old but I've alwYs been in old places. I don't expect freezing water but cool is expected. It starts cool for about 10 secs then... hot!
