How to kick wife out
My live in girl friend wants to move out be on her own and be independent. I have agreed to give her half of the proceeds from selling our house. Once it sells she will get half the money and can move on. I asked if she could help me in preparing the home for sale. She help on Saturday and has not helped since. I have spent last four weekends solely working on the house to prepare for selling. During thos four weeks she has not come home to sleep at night. No explanation no note no nothing. She waltzes back in like everything is fine. She is abusive to me verbally constantly harasing me for the money so she can leave her den of misery as she refers to our home. She constatly brings up my persenal flaws and mistakes that I have made over our 23 year relashonship. She has been trying without sucsess to turm our 2 children against me. My kids have asked her to leave the house as she is being totally unfair and unkind to me. They stated to her that I have been to good to her for too long for her to trat me this way. Mom please leave her dad does not deserve this. She is still living in my home when she feels like it. Last night she stayed out again with any communication to me. I told my kids that's it your mother is not welcome here. There is no common law marriages in the state I live in. The lawyer told me leagally I do not have to give her anything. How do I get this woman to leave?

Its called eviction...
If the house is in your name alone... and particualarly if you owned the house BEFORE she moved in... she has no claim to it, even if you were married. If her name is on it... you have to pay up. Have her evicted... but I would personally contact a lawyer first just to cover your butt on all issues. |

I think you've answered this yourself:
"I have aggreed to give her half of the proceeds from selling our house. Once it sells she will get half the money and can move on." So sell the house and then you too can move on. But what about custody of the children - are they minors? |
