I never got to say goodbye or I love you to my father .I miss him very much I would like to honor him in some way.

Talk to him as you go through your day, especially when you do something he would be proud of.
Build a little shrine on a shelf or out in the yard, with a tree or shrub planted for him.
When you see a man who reminds you of him, say hi and if age-appropriate, give him a hug and say so.
Write a biography of his life and send copies to other family.

Ask yourself - did you act like you loved him, do you think he knew you loved him? I'll bet he knew. Did he say he loved you? If not, then you both just loved each other and just knew, right? Most of us drift away from lots of I love yous over time, unless there's a crisis or we are separated and miss each other - or die. Then we wish we had said it more. But it's the actions that count, so don't worry.
