Can my ex girlfriend get full custody of our son?
My son is four now and me and his mom haven't been together since day one. I've tried being there for him but she makes it impossible. So I haven't seen him for a year know. We just finished going to court for child support and the judge ordered me to pay $600 dollars a month I've never refused to pay but now I don't know how I'm going to pay my rent and all my bills I only make 10.00 dollars a hour, she makes 4,000 a month. Know she said she's going to get full custody and there's nothing I can do cause I haven't seen him in years she's saying I've never seen him. Can she get full custody? What can I do? I feel like my lifes not mine anymore...

It sounds like she has full custody. Did you ask for visitation? If you have ordered visitation and she doesn't let you see him, take her to Court for violating the Order. If you don't have visitation, get it.

How did you get ordered to pay such high support? What State?

21 Pounds is about $33/US - how does anyone support a child on $33 a month?

Sorry. I just call it like it is.

I'm thinking that somehow you are not getting the child maintenance to which you are entitled.

Really? :/ he gets something like £800 a month after tax I think I may not be sure!
And I'm told I should be getting £21 a week for 1 child.

You are getting shortchanged - this kind of revelation is what happens when you come on and question an answer on the legal boards.

I was only asking about that amount he has to pay. I didn't want to say wrong or right.
As you can tell.. I have no idea about this kind of thing.. Seems everyone else gets more or better than I do.
How is this fair! Hah. Never mind as I said I get on with my own life and bring my boy up alone

This isn't the "fair" board. This is the legal board. If you are not getting support in accordance with the law, then you need to go back to Court and ask for an increase.

And if you don't need the money to bring up your boy alone put it in the bank to pay for his college/university education.
