    How do I take my husband's name off the deed to my house?
    I need to take my husband's name off the deed to my house. How can I do that?

    He signs a Deed which transfers his share to you. Otherwise, without his cooperation, you cannot.

    Can you explain why? As Judy said he is part owner so he has to deed his share to you.
