How to remove stucked deep-down foot lock drain on my bath tub
I have a foot lock drain and its stuck down. It's the kind
That you push down to lock and unlock. Water just
Pools in the tub and will not drain. I tried to unscrew
The metal top of it unsuccessfully. It made the problem
Worst since I'd pushed the moving metal deeper, below
The frame. How can I fix it ?

The drain mechanism is still intact. It opperates up and down, but the down is not far enough down to seal the drain and prevent the water from draining. Like the others I have turned and turned the stopper, but it hasn't fixed the problem. What's next?
