Hello,
Im VERY worried for my mom she is 45 years and is having heavy bleeding during the cycle and so she went to the doctor because she was feelng very week and the doctor told her that she is anemic and prescribe iron tablets and also she takes vitamins with injection now ;Please help me to find out what tests should be done for this situation and what kind of vitamins or multivitamin are good for her so I can sent her in my country because she is not living in US .Im also worried because when she has the cycle is heavy and with pieces like cottage cheese (im sorry for aproaching it that way but that's how it is and is been for years that way but now she is getting even worse)im also worried because she also has bening tumor in her scalp under the hear like bumps that are getting painfull and red on the top of the bump .Please help me as much as you can and thank you sooo much for taking your time to answer me.. dea

Obviously only a Physician can treat her. Does she have uterine fibroid tumors, something else?

She has lived with this condition for years and no Physician has helped her?

I figured out you meant benign tumors - but what does "under the hear" mean?

Has she seen a second Physician for either of these problems?

Im sorry for misspelling I meant "under the hair";she actually have been mostly to a hematologist and not often to ob-gyn but she has done pap smear before which come out to be normal she has to do another one for this year;now when she went to hematologist they are kind of quite because they think she is in pre-menopause stage and that's the reason but I'm kind of researching myself on what kind of tests can help figuring out the cause of her conditions but I'm worried because she has been like that for 2-3 years now and now she is actually telling me that she is very week and she has other symptomes that I mentioned before. Please help me with whatever info that you have and what must be done if you know naything ;thank you so much for taking your time and responding me...

I had heavy bleeding, anemia, felt weak and tired, had fibroids, had a hysterectomy. I was young for the procedure but no other medical procedure worked for me.

Has she had a sonogram?
