    A/C set up distance from house
    How far from the house can I set the A/C unit up?

    As far as you want as long as it does not disturbe the neighbor with the noise.

    The longer the lineset the bigger the diameter pipe requirements. At the cost of copper today it is more like, how far can I afford to move the condenser away from the house.

    The very sort of good point I would expect from Northern Heat. You may want to post to Electrical and see what tkrussel has to say on wire size.
