house breaking for a 2 month old puppy
I brought home a 2 month old puppy (yorky tea cup) two days ago. He was kept in a crate in his prior place with other pups. I was advised to only take him out of the crate 3x a day for play. He is to be kept in the crate all the time. My kids can't help it and take him out for petting. He does spend a lot of time in the crate. I take him out to the wee wee pad at least every hour and a half, however, he doesn't go and a few minutes later he barks really loud to let me know that he pee. He does poop in the mornings in the wee wee pads when I take him out. He is pooping only once a day in the morning. I am not sure when is a bark to play or when is a sign to take him out. I spent these past two days trying watching him and taking him in and out. I soon have to leave the house for a period, not the entire day and am really concerned.

Who advised you to do this? Was this pup obtained from a backyard breeder?
