My water was turned off at the street by the city for repairs down the street. Now that it's back on, one toilet and one faucet won't work (different bathrooms, different floors). Everything else works just fine. I'd hate to have to hire a plumber for this. I've tried opening the faucet and letting it run -- there's a little dribble but then it stops after awhile. I've tried pouring water into the back of the toilet tank and flushing, but the toilet never refills. Help!

Your faucet mixing valve and the toilet fill valve most likely caught some debris floating in the pipes are the work disturbed them. The fill valve is only $10 so not worth fixing but the faucets needs to come apart. Brand and model needed to be more specific about how to fix the faucet valve.
