    When filling a yard with dirt do I need a retaining wall
    Buying a house the land is on a slope and thy say they can level it will the land slide ever

    It could depending on the slope angle. Dirt has an angle of repose. Do you know what the grade percent is? Grass or ground cover would help. If a steep slope use Shore Juniper.

    U want the 10feet closest to house pitched away slightly for rain drainage.
