    My front yard is an almost 75 degree slop dirt keeps washing away
    I can't put anything worthwhile out there people steal everything here they stole my garden house lol I was thinking of putting up a rock wall but where the road is at the bottom of the slope the idiots who built this house for my wife basically built it into the side of a hill and sadly the area they left for a front yard has already washed away a lot. I went out and tried to bring back some of the dirt that had covered the sidewalk down the road but sadly that will wash away again. I don't know what to do we are not rich and if I can't stop this the front of the house will eventually fall when the erosion gets to the house.

    You can try some rock berms across the yard and plant ground cover between the berms.

    Build the rock wall, and backfill it as you find fill. Don't forget weep holes for the water to drain or the wall will fail.

    75 degree slope is really steep... VERY hard to get groundcover to survive and grow. If it's a north facing slope its even harder, it would get the least amount of sunlight You stand the best chance on a southern exposed slope, that would see the most sunlight.

    Chicken wire and landscape staples. Plants grow up through it. Hosta hold soil best but is expensive, unless you ask around the neighborhood. Pachysandra, ground juniper are evergreen.
