    White-Westinghouse Dryer, Loud Rubbing/Scraping Sound.
    White-Westinghouse Electric Dryer
    Model no. WER211ES0

    Heating element is fine.
    Motor is running fine.
Belt is slightly frayed on the sides, reinforcement wires showing (plan to replace regardless).
I removed the front face and see a small black mark on the felt glides.
The plastic glides on the inside of the drum lip look fine.
I removed the drum and ball assembly, the ball has some black buildup on it.
The bracket for the ball has grooves in it (not sure if it's supposed to be like this).

What steps should I take in order to get me in the right direction here? I've done some research, but nothing more than a disassembly manual has popped up with some minor troubleshooting tips.

If any other information is needed, I will supply it to the best of my ability.

I ran the dryer without the drum/ ball joint and belt assembly, and the blower wheel is the culprit. There seems to be a screw of some kind missing on the front of the blower wheel, causing it to wobble and rub against the blower housing.
