My best friend and her ex-boyfriend (one of my good friends) broke up about 8 months ago and recently he started going out with one of my best friends close friends. Suddenly her ex and his new girlfriend started messaging me to hang out. Now my best friend is getting upset at this but doesn't want to say anything. I confronted her about it and she said she doesn't know how she feels about me hanging with him and his girlfriend but she won't tell me not to be friends with them. The situation is making things hard between our friendship but I don't want to lose my friendship with her ex either. I know I should do what's best for me and my best friend, but she has been telling me that she doesn't mind that I'm hanging out with him, and I know she wouldn't be happy if I did stop my friend ship with her ex, but I can tell she's upset still.
