Is there a universal ceiling fan remote control that will change direction of fan
I have a catherdal ceiling in my living room. I had a ceiling fan installed but did not buy one with a remote.
Are there any kits availibale to install a remote? I have to drag the ladder out twice a year to change direction. It would be easier with a remote.

HD and Lowe's carry universal remotes. Whether you can reverse the fan is another story.

    No. There is NOT.

If your fan has a physical reverse switch on it somewhere that is the ONLY way to reverse it.

Some fans with internal factory remotes can be revered, but they are wired internally for it.
