    TRANE XR13 compressor cuts off when outside heat is high
    I have a Trane XR13. Fan motor froze and was replaced with a used one from an XR12. (Same specs as the old one). Previously, AC repair person replaced the capacitors. When installing the fan, noticed one capicitor didn't seem to be new. (Fan/motor installed by another party).

    Unit ran fine after fan installation for 2.5 days. Yesterday-105 degrees outside, fan was not blowing cool air. Fan operational, Compressor not coming on. Turned unit off. Turned unit on later & compressor came on.

    Cool air is blowing right now.
