    Trane furnace blower doesn't come on, compressor on heat burners ignite, new stat
    Blower won't run, even in on mode, replaced stat, still nothing, has power to motor, can turn cage freely, furnace led light says system normal, compressor for air comes on, heat ignites, just no fan blower, any ideas

    Sounds like the cooling relay is out of your control board.

    Thanks but can I replace the cooling relay myself, or is it too complicated

    Most likley you will have to replace the whole control board if it is the cooing really. If the cooling relay is bad you can try moving the wire on the cool terminal of the control board to hum or eac and see if the fan moves. Before you switch any wires try this first though. Have you tried to spin the fan by hand, and then turn the system on while the fan is spinning to see if the start capacitor is bad? Also does the fan come on in heat? If not you may need a new start capacitor or a new blower motor. Check these things and let us know what you find and we can go to the next step

    the fan doesn't come on in the heat mode either, I can spin the fan freely by hand, I will spin it and turn the fan on and see if it continues to move, thanks I will let you know

    If it does not run in the heat or the ac it is deffentally either the motor or the start capacitor.
