Window air conditioner not working
My window ac unit if not working properly. The fan works but that's it. The compressor never kicks on. I have no clue what it could be. I took all the troubleshooting steps, and nothing. I need help. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a Simplicity 6000 BTU window a/c and the fan has stopped working. If I open it up and spin it with my hand, it will kick in, but stops again after awhile. The compressor and everything else seems to be working.

Hi I want to upgrade my air conditioner from an 8,000 BTU 7.5 amp to 10,00 BTU. But My problem is I live in an apartment with fuses the air conditioning line is on a 15 amp fuse. If the a/c is 10,000 BTU and the amps are 9 or 10 will that continually blow out my 15 amp fuse.
