Bad Roommate or am I crazy
My friend who I have knows for 4 years just moved in with me. She and I have always had a rocky friendship but we are still very close. She was trying to save money to go on a trip to italy and so I told her should could stay with me without paying rent. I asked her to help clean instead.

We are on the 3rd month of living together. The longer it goes on the worse it gets.

I can't tell if its me her or both!

I am a bit up tight about my house and at first I was bugging her by cleaning after her before she had a chance to but she would leave the kitchen a mess then go to a friends over night so I cleaned it so I could use my kitchen ( very small house).
I was annoyed for cleaning after her.

Little things built up from that:
She got mad at me for texting her when she had a headache ( I was drunk) but I told her after I wasn't sorry because she could have just not looked at her phone. If she had a migraine was it not on vibrate?

She got mad at me because I offered to pick her up and then last min said I couldn't. ( she had plans to bus originally I just wanted to be nice but I had no gas and no gas money so I wanted to not use it she was far away)

We were supposed to have a bonfire together and she ditched last min, then got mad I used all the fire wood.

She got mad I unplugged her hair dryer and left the cord on the ground

I get mad because she hardly ever cleans & since she's not paying a dime you would think she would go the extra mile to show she is thankful?

    She gives me attitude.

I invited a friend from out of town, who was only here for a day, over. Gave her 2 hrs warning and she got mad that I was having people over because she wanted a ''quiet night at home''. We were outside most of the time and she was gone by 11pm. My room-mate sulked the whole time and made things tense by ignoring us or not saying hi.

Just all these things build up. There is tension I dread going home. I have thought of asking for rent but it makes no difference I don't want her in my house any more it might ruin the friendship the way this is going but, I'm the nice person that gets walked on. Im not sure how to kick her out how much notice to give her. I want her out yesterday but I really don't know how to do it so I don't lose a friend.

    * Im not sure she is the kind of person I should be friends with anyway as she is dramatic and unstable.

So am I being completely wrong or to fussy or am I a little right to say its not working move out or is she being rude to me ?

*also reading this I know it sounds childish and petty. But I've had roommates for 3 yrs I have a short fuse for things I don't like anymore because I've had very rude messy roommates. I can't even pretend to tolerate it anymore. But I'm 22 she's 23, I know its immature but I'm in this situation every day. And instead of being the broken record complaining I want to know what I should do about this situation because I don't like drama or immaturity.

** I have tried sitting down with her saying lets start on a clean slate and both try to get along with each other better and it only got worse after that

You have every right to your reasoning. If she's not paying a dime, then she needs to tolerate YOU and suck it up. In my opinion, she has no room to speak in a rent free place. You signed the lease so you are legally entitled to be there. She isn't. She should be extremely grateful to have a friend like you who allows her to room with you at the simple price of cleaning. I wish I had it like that! Give her two weeks. Tell her you simply can't be roommates with her and that you think it's best is she were to move out. She doesn't sound like a good friend anyway.
