Do I have dry socket? Or is it suppose to look like this.
I had one of my back teeth pulled out that is on the bottom row 2 days ago. I looked at it today and it looks like it is covered up by this grey-ish stuff. Plus, it has white things in it? I have no kind of pain what so ever. Pleae help!

Yes, you have dry socket. The cavity left by an extracted tooth should have a blood clot displayed. This blood clot is protection for the bone and underlying tissue. Keep rinsing. You could have lost the clot by rinsing too hard, not keeping your tongue away from the cavity, or just generally poking around in there not understanding why there was supposed to be a clot.

If you experience pain or discomfort, consult with your Dental surgeon.

What should a blood clot look like? I have only rinsed two times, kept my tongue away, and left it alone.

My oral surgeon gave instructions to rinse several times a day with warm salt water, and also to brush the area with a soft bristle brush.
