    Dalmatian puppy Parvo
I just a dalmatian puppy, and discovered 2 days later that he has Parvovirus. It's been 5 days now. Does my puppy have any chances of survival? Did he at least pass the critical state? He doesn't have a fever and he vomits less now, and as for the diarrhea its been 24 hours that he hasn't done any. But on the other hand, I was told that he was taken from his mother early and he is about 40 days old. Could he make it? I'm really worried.

Let me stress this, and I can't STRESS it enough, your young pup needs to see a vet IMMEDIATELY. Who told you this baby has parvo?

How do you know he doesn't have a fever? Parvo is a dangerous contagious disease and your pup is far to young, if you even believe or think he has parvo, to go without a vet check.

What have you been feeding him ?

Is he eating and drinking? If not, that's the reason why he's not having diarrhea and isn't vomiting.

5 day of no treatment whatsoever with that virus tearing apart the lining in the GI tract... I'll be surprised if he makes it.

How do you know it's parvo? Was it diagnosed?

Regardless of this pup was taken from mom too early, it needs to see a vet... Like 5 days ago.

I think the poster is too young to realize what has to be done. Shame

My puppy is somehow recovering as the doctor says! He has been visiting him for the past 5 days. Today he started eating and drinking alone, is it a good sign?
