How old are these kittens? They should not be living or even going outside.

They have disappeared because they have no clue where they are! They are in a strange place and are probably trying to find their way home. Outside they will be killed by bigger animals or hit by a car. You already found out that they will hide under the hood and get moved somewhere else.

Are you on a farm out in the country or in a town or city?

You do realize, don't you, it is the height of cruelty to put kittens outdoors and expect them to stay alive. If they are missing, they could have been killed by a dog or a coon or a fox or coyote or been hit by a car or truck.

You'll just have to walk around and look here and there. Always feed them at the same place. Put out some smelly fishy cat food and maybe one or both will show up.

I've rescued and adopted all ages of cats over the years that are like your kittens who are left outdoors by irresponsible owners to the mercy of wild animals and other evils. What will happen to them in winter? Or when it rains?

Why is your mother so heartless that she won't allow young cats to be safe indoors?

Umm!! They are NOT LEFT ouyt doorsmy mom thought it would be best I have to sibblings that are alergic to cats so I can't have them in the house.. if not other wise she would let them. I always feed and play with them! I'm sure they just went off for an adventure or something.. and I am not an "irresponsable" owner!

If you don't know where your animals are, you are an irresponsible owner. I know where my four cats are 24/7 and can find them easily. And they have a warm and dry and safe house (mine) to live in.

If your siblings are allergic to cats, why on earth did you get two cats and put the cats' lives in jeopardy?
