Every time the power flickers the AC unit stops blowing cold air. The last time it happened the repairman reset the thermostat by pushing 2 buttons on the thermostat and then going through the setting on the screen. I would really like to know how to do this with out having to call him every time...
I am getting a #33 code indicating a limit circuit fault and am unsure what to do. Any help would be fantastic. I can't afford service now and the kids are cold as the nights are getting colder.
Unit board led continuous flashing, indicating reversed polarity. Circuit checked--properly wired. Circuit breaker reset. Thermostat appears OK. Heater blower operates. Return air clear. Ducts clear/open. Exhaust clear. Unit power removed for 3-hour period.

The bryant furnace we have is blowing cold air and when we try to increase or decrease the temp it flashes "HC" with heat, cool, auto, mngmt to the right of the "HC" what could be wrong? The filter was replaced 2 weeks ago and is clean.
