Grounds for terminating parental rights of a mother California
My boyfriends ex wife has done a number on the kids.
CPS has been called in the past , last year to be exact, and because the kids are so terrified of her the oldest changed his story up a bit and everything was unfounded. However, since she has had visitations given back to her, every Wednesday from 6pm to Thursday 8am and Every other Wednesday 6pm to Sunday 6pm - there has been a few questionable things.

They have in their court papers that the children must call the parent they are not with by 8:30pm every night. She does not follow this about 80% of the time. She has also picked the children up from school early on days that are NOT hers to appts - knowing their father already had an appt set up for them later in the day. She has also taken them out of school early to take them to the beach. She was homeless for about 6 months, and didn't see the children on her scheduled days, and was threatening to kill herself repeatedly. She has forgot to pick the kids up from school. She goes out most weekends she has the children, and the boys have heard stories. She has passed out from being so drunk in the bath tub.

Lately, there are stories of her going around her old job that she is prostituting. When her kids came home today - I asked the oldest about their food. He said they hardly ate anything and that mom got them Pizza hut. I asked how she could afford it since she has no job. He told me ""My mom said she got $40 from _____ but I over heard her telling ____ that it was really $100" He was asked why she was given money and he said "well she asked _____ for games for the Wii and he just gave her the money"

She is leaving the kids with God knows who when they are sleeping sometimes, she did it recently, she told the oldest "Help her friend who just got dumped"

She has also not been around when they are awake and has told her kids it was because of a job, however, state job interviews are not going on until 10pm.

It is all very suspect and I am wondering what can be done? CPS has been involved in this before and did nothing..

You are not going to get her rights terminated based on this. The best you can hope for is supervised visitation if you can prove what you are saying.
