I took a pap smear on Nov. 2nd, 2006, and they gave me the birth control shot. They found out that I have HPV, and I quit the shot and never wen't back for my second shot. I had a 15 day period in December. Since then I've not had a period. Im very worried, I understand it takes time for your period to come back, but I've also has unprotected sex with my boyfriend, several times. Could I be pregnant? Im not feeling any symptons, but it could be the first stages of early pregnancy.Please Help!:confused:

Anytime you have unprotected sex, (and even when on birth control) there is a chance that you can get pregnant. Since you took one shot, and then stopped, I am sure your body is still trying to get back into the groove of things.You could just be late, or missing periods because of the after shocks of the shot, and then not using the shot. However, you could be pregnant. The only thing to do here I am afraid, is wait. Hard thing to hear, but it's the only thing to do. If your period doesn't come, take a test.(whether it be a hpt or a blood test. Hpts are accurate for most, however, some women don't always have high enough pregnancy hormone to immediately register on them. That's when the blood test is needed, as it is more accurate.) You might also consider a visit with your ob/gyn. They can give you an exam and check for more defining signs of pregnancy, or help to determine what is causing your missed period. Good luck

There is always a possibility, as buggage says, all you can do is wait, make sur3 when you test, that you use the first urine you pass whe you wake up in the morning.
