So me and my girlfriend have been dating for over a year now. Things hasn't been smooth but we managed it well. But lately, she's been very busy because of her new job. She doesn't even have time to have dinner with me and although I'm willing to go and see her for just 5 minutes because I miss her, she doesn't want to because she said she's busy and tired. I know that her new job is tiring as she has to start real early and by the end of the day she's dead tired but that doesn't mean that she can just shut herself up. She doesn't text me, she doesn't ask me whether I'm fine or if I'm sick or whatever. I'm trying to be understanding and not get mad at her for neglecting me but it is as though I'm not that important to her. Sometimes she could go and hangout with her friends for awhile after work but not with me. She will give an excuse that they were pretty persistent but when I do that, she will get mad and all. I don't expect a lot but I just want to feel that she misses me too and that I am important as well. I don't know how to tell her how I feel without coming across as needy because I know she will just say that I'm being selfish and ungrateful and not understanding. And truthfully, it doesn't matter that we don't get to meet but at least let me feel that she cares or even worried.

Sounds to me like you are being needy. Actions speak louder than words, and if she's still sticking around, after what sounds like busting her butt to provide for you both then I would say that should scream that she cares.
