I have an old Rheem gas furnace which doesn't power on. I opened up the unit and found what looks like a wire that has been disconnected. Can anyone tell me where this should be plugged back in (if at all?) Pic of what I'm talking about The disconnected wire is red and below where...

Furnace fires up just fine, and fan spins but there is absolutely no airflow in duct work. Any ideas? Last spring thermostat went out and I replaced it, worked great. A month later circuit board burned out, tech found that problem and replaced it (major pocketbook ouch) and everything worked...

Wiring a furnace thermostat to manually operate the furnace fan

I have two wires connected to my furnace thermostat. There is a place labeled G on the thermostat. Can I simply run a wire from the G terminal on my thermostat to the terminal labeled G on my furnace fan relay to operate the fan separately? View more questions Search
