    Dating laws
    I am 18 years old, my girlfriend is 15 and is turning 16 in August. Is it illegal for us to date? I know we can not have sex. I just want to know if we can be together? I live in VA.

    There are no laws governing dating. It depends on whether her parents approve.

    As long as her parents are OK with it, and give their permission to date and as long as you don't have sex, no problem
